Please read! This is our routine and class policies.
I'll post the week's assignment on Monday mornings. The assignments will be due the following Monday. As always, if something comes up and you can't get me the work by Monday, you can get it to me when you can. Try your best to get it turned in on time though, that way you won't get behind.
For the translations, you can do them and turn them in any way that is best for you. You can type the translation on the Google Doc and turn it in. You can print out the translation, write the translation on it, take a picture of it and email the picture to me. You can write out your translation on a blank piece of paper, take a picture of it and email the picture to me.
If you need help with anything, please email (erin.chapman@polk-fl.net) me. We can arrange a virtual meeting on Zoom or Microsoft Teams if needed. I will be at my computer from 9am to noon every school day, so I can immediately help you during those times. The rest of the school day I will check my email frequently and during the evening I'll check it once or twice. If you have any issues with accessing something (YouTube videos, etc.), please let me know and we can arrange something else.
Attendance Policy - Lawton Chiles. For you to be marked present in class, I need to "hear" from you once every three school days. "Hearing" from you can be emailing me, turning in an assignment, posting a comment to Google Classroom, etc.
Attendance Policy - Lakeland. For you to be marked present in class, I need to "hear" from you at least once anytime between Friday and Wednesday each week. On Thursdays, I will mark you present if I have "heard" from you at least once since Friday. If I have not "heard" from you, I will mark you absent on Thursday. "Hearing" from you can be emailing me, turning in an assignment, posting a comment to Google Classroom, etc.
I will update the blog on our class website (http://latinpolk.weebly.com) every couple of days. I'll put up the random stuff I would normally tell you in class! You can leave a comment on the blog by clicking on the comments link under the blog paragraph.
If you have any suggestions on how to make this new virtual learning experience better or more efficient, please let me know! If you are having problems, please let me know! If everything is going well, please let me know! I value your opinion and want to make this the best we can.
